The New Choices Program provides assistance to individuals who have worked as caretakers in a household and are unable to secure gainful employment due to lack of required training or work experience. Individuals who have been dependent on the income of another household member, but are no longer adequately supported by that income may be eligible for employment assistance, education or retraining through New Choices.

• Counseling and support services
• Information and referral to resources in the community such as legal, health and other support services
