The YWCA Lower Cape Fear provides Racial Justice programming, education and training to ensure economic security for women and their families and quality youth programming that promotes healthy development of children and creates opportunities for youth.
 
 
Is the YWCA associated with the YMCA?
No. We are separate nonprofit organizations with differing missions and programs The YWCA is devoted to the social health and development of women and children and the elimination of racism.
 
 
Who can join YWCA Lower Cape Fear?
Membership is open to any individual, regardless of race, religion or gender. Membership allows for enrollment in quality, affordable childcare, fitness and support services and programs offered by YWCA Lower Cape Fear. Is the YWCA only for women?
No. We serve men, women and children through multiple programs.
 
 
Are you a faith based organization?
No. People of many denominations and religious beliefs work, volunteer and receive services here.

 
Does the YWCA still have a swimming pool?
