Is my Kiddo ready for Summer Swim Team?
6 & unders must be able to swim 1/2 length/12.5 yards of the pool (without stopping, holding on the rope or wall) freestyle and backstroke. All other swimmers should be able to comfortably swim one length/25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. We recommend all swimmers have completed Level 3 (or equivalent) of swim lessons before participating in swim team. This ensures a solid foundation and comfort in deeper water. In addition to swim skills, swimmers should be able to follow multi-step directions, be ready to accept feedback and be a positive, respectful part of the team and practice sessions.

Winter Warmup
The program meets Mid-February to the end of April
Registration will open mid-December
Winter Warm up is a 10-week jump-start to summer swim team. It allows all levels of ability to strengthen their stroke technique, starts, turns, muscle strength, endurance, and race strategy in a fun and positive atmosphere. The goal of this program is to promote the sport of swimming as fun, healthy, disciplined exercise and an activity to enjoy throughout life. Swimming has the added benefit of being a team and individual sport. Working together as a team in a relay or measuring one’s personal improvement is the diversity the sport of swimming offers. There are no swim meets in this program but there are time trials within the practice times.
Fall Training registration will open in August 2023.
The Fall Training season runs from early September – early February every year. There are no swim meets during fall training, but the team meets to build endurance, gain skills, and have FUN!
