YWCA’s Living the Dream Center for Entrepreneurship presents “Level Up! Women’s Small Business Conference and Pitch Competition,” an event of networking, education and supporting entrepreneurs in the Lower Cape Fear. This in-person conference and pitch competition provides opportunities for women entrepreneurs to connect, strategize and grow.

Calling All Entrepreneurs!
Join us for a day of empowerment with not one, but two impactful events! The morning begins with our Small Business Workshop, led by Kathryn Roberts, followed by an engaging panel discussion. Then, gather for our Luncheon starting at 11:30 am, marking the launch of our highly anticipated Pitch Competition. Six finalists will present their business ventures before a panel of judges, vying for a chance to win a combined $18,500 in prize money. This initiative is designed to fuel entrepreneurial spirits with vital capital support, propelling their businesses to new heights.

What is as Pitch Competition?

A pitch competition is a contest where entrepreneurs present their business (service/product) to a panel of judges on clarity, market opportunity and traction to date.

When to Arrive

The doors will open at 8:30 am, and our Small Business Conference will begin at 9:00 am. Doors for the Luncheon and Pitch Competition will open at 11:30 am.
