Advocacy & Racial Justice
YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities.
For over 160 years, YWCAs have stood on the frontlines of the most important issues of our time — from voting rights and civil rights to affordable housing, pay equity, violence prevention, and health care reform. This tradition of speaking up and taking action is at the heart of who we are. And here’s the thing: we can’t do it without you. Your voice matters. Together, we can push for the policies and changes that move us closer to a world free from racism, where women are empowered, and where peace, justice, freedom, and dignity belong to everyone.
